Day 4 – Roxanne gets up early
Had to do the 6:30 am class today, the only one that fit my schedule. My husband just laughed when I told him the night before I’d be up early.
In fact, I don’t mind getting up early – if I have a reason. And the early yoga class was hands-down the best one I’ve been to yet. Fewer people, it didn’t seem as hot, and although my hamstrings had that just-rolled-out-of-bed tightness, I had no trouble getting through all the postures.
Plus, I do not eat at that time of day, so everything was done on an empty stomach. And more importantly, no coffee. Nothing quite like doing inversion postures with a hot drink threatening an encore.
Before I knew it, class was done. Home by 8:20 am, shower, a leisurely breakfast and – finally!! – my coffee, and the rest of my day lay in front of me, wide-open, full of possibilities.
Day 3
My hip hurts again. Got some good writing done though, almost four pages. It’s a good story, family secrets, lost love, adorable child.
Day 2 – No problem!
Two days down, 28 to go. I did all the postures today, even Camel posture, which is usually my worst.
